Noun

 Definition:- 

Noun is the name of any person place or things Noun is the name of everything.Noun is a naming word.

e.g. girl, Aparna, indore, army, rice
किसी व्यक्ति,वस्तु , स्थान के नाम को संज्ञा कहते है। हम जो कुछ भी इस संसार में देखते है वो सभी NOUN है। चाहे वो पेड़ हो या घास।  चाहे वो घर हो या लोग। जिस  किसी को हमने नाम दिया वे सभी NOUN है। 

Types of noun

There are mainly five type of noun:- 

मुख्यतः पांच प्रकार के होते है -

1. Proper noun

Proper noun is the name given to particular person, place or thing.
e.g. Lalita, indore, the red fort etc.
ऎसे नाम जो किसी एक व्यक्ति , वस्तु  या स्थान का नाम हो।
 उदाहरण :- मोती , लता , लालकिला।

2. Common noun

Common noun is the name given in common to all person place or thing.
e.g. pen, book, student, boy, lion etc.
ऐसे नाम जो सभी  व्यक्ति,वस्तु तथा स्थान  लिए समान  हो।

 उदाहरण :- कुत्ता , लड़की  , किला।
कुत्ता शब्द Common noun है जबकि मोती (कुत्ते का नाम ) एक proper noun है। हर कुत्ते  को कुत्ता कहा जा सकता हे पर हर कुत्ते को मोती नहीं कह सकते। 

3. Collective noun

Collective noun is the name of a number of things taken together but spoken as one of whole.
e.g. army, library, fleet, class, gang etc.
ऐसे नाम जो एकवचन होने पर भी समूह का आभास दे। उदाहरण:-कक्षा , पुस्तकालय।

4. Abstract noun

Abstract noun is the name of quality, action or state. We can not touch abstract noun. We can only imagine it.
e.g. beauty, teaching, knowledge, childhood etc.

ऐसे  संज्ञा शब्द जिसे छुआ ना जा सके केवल महसूस किया जाए।
उदाहरण:- सुंदरता , ईमानदारी  

5. Material noun

The matter by which other things are made called material noun.
e.g. gold, iron, rubber, wheat etc.
जिस  वस्तु से अन्य वस्तुऍ बनाई जा सके।
उदाहरण :- सोना , गेंहू , दूध इत्यादि।
