Letter, word and sentence

Letter (अक्षर ):-

      Single character of English alphabets is called a letter. 


   There are 26 letter in English language. Those letters divided into three groups
1. Vowel (स्वर )
                A, E, I, O, U are the five vowels.
2. Consonant (व्यंजन )

                B,C,D,F,G,H,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,T,V,W,X,Y,Z are 21 consonants.

3. Semivowels (अर्धस्वर )
      Single character "Y" comes into this character.

Word (शब्द ) :-

       Collection of letters is called a word.
e.g. bag, girl, peacock, ABC

          प्रिय  पाठको ,
                           आज मैं आप के लिए अक्षर , शब्द  और वाक्य लायी हु।  ध्यान देने वाली बात यह हे कि जहां शब्द अक्षरो के समूह को कहते हे वही वाक्य शब्दों के सार्थक समूह कोको कहते है।  


Sentence 
(वाक्य )
:-

         Meaningful collection of word is called sentence.  A group of word that expresses a complete idea or thought is called a sentence.

Every sentence has a complete subject and complete predicate.
The complete subject tells whom or what the sentence is about. For example; The house, The red car, or The great teacher.
The complete predicate tells what the subject is or does. For example; (The house) is white, (The red car) is fast, or (The great teacher) likes students.

  The house is white.
The car is blue.
The teacher likes students.

Example.
He bought a book.
The above group of words “He bought a book” expresses a complete though hence it is a sentence. A sentence begins with capital letter and ends with a period, question mark or exclamation mark.

Kinds of sentences

There are four kinds of sentences.

1. Assertive or Declarative Sentence (घोषणात्मक वाक्य)


A sentence that makes a statement or assertion is called an assertive or declarative sentence. Assertive sentence ends with a period.

Examples
He goes to school
He likes to play chess.
They are singing a song.

2. Interrogative Sentence (प्रश्नात्मक  वाक्य )

A sentence that asks a question is called an interrogative sentence. Interrogative sentence ends with question mark.
Examples.
Where are you going?
Do you use your laptop?

3 Imperative Sentence (आदेशात्मक वाक्य )

A sentence that expresses a request, command or advice is called an imperative sentence.
Examples
Open the door. (an order)
Please help me. (a request)

4. Exclamatory Sentence (विस्मयादिबोधक वाक्य)

A sentence that expresses strong feelings or emotions is called an exclamatory sentence. These sentences express surprise, joy, sorrow, appreciation, love excitement, frustration, anger etc. An exclamatory sentence ends with exclamation mark.

Examples
What a beautiful flower it is!
How nicely she is singing!
That is fantastic!
Hurrah! We won the match!
